Saskatoon Berry Hills, 2026

Acrylic on canvas
24”x 48”

Saskatoon Berry Hills was inspired by my daily walks on the ridge located in Dale Hodges Park, Calgary. The sky is huge element in the painting and symbolizes the spiritual side of life. I come here to slow down, walk and meditate. One gets in touch with nature soothing the ragged edges of urban life. I feel close to the sky, like a bird scanning the hills. This is where the Saskatoon Berry bushes await below, among the hills, to be enjoyed!
